Also designed the State and War offices, and the old State Capitol in Columbia, South Carolina. Original manuscript Deed of Trust document concerning a debt, filed in April of 1825. Also signed by Justice of the Peace WILLIAM THORNTON (1759-1828), the architect who designed the US Capitol! Scarce, unusual document bearing the signatures of the two most important federal architects of the early Republic. $1250.00
