Patriot activist, Soldier of the Revolution, Merchant. As a philanthropist, he helped revive Queen's College, New Jersey, which was renamed in his honor 1825. This museum quality frame measures 15.5" x 24" and holds two smaller frames. The top is a handwritten receipt for a load of stone, dated June 22, 1807, from New York. Document is handwritten and signed by "Henry Rutgers." The lower frame features a print of Rutgers University. $450.00 SOLD*
