The London Chronicle Thursday November 23, 1775. Front page news includes a report of fifteen of the King's soldiers confiscating a printing press in Norfolk, in Virginia. Despite a crowd numbered in the hundreds the soldiers proceeded "...without meeting with the least molestation...". Lottery results precedes a full page letter signed by A Frankelein calling for a "...speedy, absolute, and eternal separation of the whole continent of America from Great Britain."
